Metaltex has just ordered our second powdercoat line form Garnic Technologies. The new line will comprise of a 6.3 meter long x 3.1 meter high batch oven that is supported by a VSD recirculation fan in conjunction with a fully modulating high low gas burner through a combustion chamber which gives the batch oven even temperatures from top to bottom. In conjunction the oven unit also comprises of 2 overhead high temp transfer stations capable of transferring product up to 6.2 meters long and a Powder coating booth that comprises of a 18KW high efficiency dust collector that has fully automated reverse pulse Spunbonded Polyester filters and a digital Gema Optistar application gun.
Commissioning of the unit is expected to commence in May.
Our first Oven has been in operation almost 1 year now producing exceptional results and quality hence the additional purchase to further increase our capacity.
Metaltex recently engaged with Garnic Technologies to custom design and manufacture a batch powdercoat line to suit the scope of work in which we produce.
Installation is now well under way with an estimated completion and commissioning date of Mid-June 2017. This system further increase Metaltex’s quality of supply whilst reducing production lead times.
Metaltex acquired the high productivity LVD Strippit V20-1225 Turret punch CNC machine due to increased demand of services by our clients. Our experience with LVD CNC machines continues to yield astonishing results in both quality and precision.
Earlier this year Metaltex was nominated for the 2016 Manufacturing Hall of Fame Awards.
We are extremely excited that judging of the awards is now complete and Metaltex has now made the finals for ‘Medium manufacturing business of the Year’.
The awards will be announced at a black tie gala dinner and awards ceremony to be hosted by the Minister for Industry, the Hon. Lily D’Ambrosio MP on Thursday, June 9 2016 at the Palladium at Crown Melbourne.
Metaltex’s New purpose built manufacturing facility is currently being constructed on an 8000m2 site in Dandenong South, with a completion timeframe of around mid-year 2016. This new facility will allow for additional product line expansion as well making necessary room for newly purchased plant equipment to further increase our production capabilities and capacity.
