Excavator Steps

Metaltex assisted in the redesign of excavator steps. Current step configuration was not as functional as it could be and we developed an enhanced product. Utilizing our Solidworks software, designers a CNC Laser cutting machine, skilled fabricators and in-house powdercoat line we presented a product that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also solved the problem of functionality.

Caravan Tool Boxes

We were approached by Jayco caravans to assist in the design and manufacture of powdercoated aluminium storage boxes. The brief was to further increase the vehicles storage capacity as well as complimenting what We believe is an already amazing vehilce. The finished product designed in Solidworks and Manufactured utilizing our state of the art in-house equipment that includes Lasercutting, Turret punching, Brake pressing and Tig welding. The completed product was well received as it dramatically increased storage capacity whilst also matching the existing tread plate side panels.

Deep Cycle Battery Lockers

A client reached out for our assistance in designing and manufacturing custom Aluminium battery power storage enclosures, which also housed an invertor and associated hardwear. The finished product manufactured ulitizing the following process; Solidworks, Turret punch, CNC Brake Press, Tig weld and final assembly and QA . Complete assembly was well received and volume production commeced after innitial prototpe was built and tested.

4M Fork Spreader

A long-term client required a 4 meter fork spreader to be manufactured in order to assist production with the movement of laminated fibre panels. Their current movement process was inefficient and was causing production damage and issues. The 4 meter fork spreader solution designed in Solidworks manufactured utlilizing our CNC laser and CNC press brakes solved the customers issues, which significantly reduced internal product NCR’s and increased overall efficiencies.

Corporate Logo Light Sign

An existing client approached Metaltex to assist in the manufacturing of a new corporate signage for Westpac. The project presented itself with complicated curves and profiles, which we were able to achieve utilizing laser cut templates and our state of the art press brake facilities. Overall rollout was successful and the finished product looked fantastic and all parties were happy with the outcome.
