Metaltex assisted in the redesign of excavator steps. Current step configuration was not as functional as it could be and we developed an enhanced product. Utilizing our Solidworks software, designers a CNC Laser cutting machine, skilled fabricators and in-house powdercoat line we presented a product that was not only aesthetically pleasing but also solved the problem of functionality.

A long-term client required a 4 meter fork spreader to be manufactured in order to assist production with the movement of laminated fibre panels. Their current movement process was inefficient and was causing production damage and issues. The 4 meter fork spreader solution designed in Solidworks manufactured utlilizing our CNC laser and CNC press brakes solved the customers issues, which significantly reduced internal product NCR’s and increased overall efficiencies.
